Tom is a lifelong Mac user whose career in technology began in college at Denison University. Before co-founding Technolutionary, he honed his enterprise IT skills at the National Center on Education in the Economy, where he was part of a small team supporting 90 users' day-to-day computing needs at headquarters and 60 users scattered across 8 satellite offices with a multiple-platform, Mac-managed network. 

Tom holds certifications from Apple and maintains excellent relationships with a variety of suppliers and specialty service providers in order to bring the full benefit of his experience to his clients. Tom believes that a complete technology solution is more than just functioning servers and workstations- it's the full complement of equipment, network, software, and training to use them effectively that enables clients to enhance their businesses.

Tom is the producer and host of the MacAdmins.org Podcast, and a regular speaker at the Penn State Mac Admins Conference, Mac Admin & Developer UK Conference, MacTech Conference, and has also given talks at MacDevOps YVR and MacDeploy conferences. He is a founding member of MacDMV.

mark collien

Mark Collien has been an information technology professional for over 20 years.  He is a founding partner of Technolutionary, LLC.  Technolutionary provides critical IT services and support to a variety of clients including law firms, communications, and training companies. 

Before founding Technolutionary, in 2005, Mark served as IT Director for the National Center on Education and the Economy for over 13 years, where he managed all aspects of information and electronic communication capabilities for the organization.  He designed and implemented local and wide area networks, video conferencing networks, storage systems, did long range technology infrastructure planning, and consulted with education reform programs on appropriate technology solutions.  Additionally he was involved the development of interactive media applications, supervised technical support staff, led the technical web development team, and developed database management systems.
